The Albufera of Valencia

Visit at the Albufera´s Natural Park, located 10 km by South of Valencia City, with the freshwater lake (close to the sea and separated by a natural long sandbar) largest in Spain; considered a paradise for migratory birds in the nesting period and traditionally bounded up with rice cultivation and traditional fishing. We´ll visit El Palmar (small fishermen village located on a small island inside the lagoon), the Devesa (Natural Park), the Restinga (the natural sandbar), etc. Boarding in a traditional fishing boat, we´ll sail reminding the novels of Blasco Ibanez. The tour will be completed with the visit of a “barraca”, the traditional rice farmer´s house in this area.
