Essential Valencia
Walking Tour by the historical and cultural city centre: the Central Market, the Silk Market and Exchange (UNESCO H.H.S.), the Round Square, St. Catherin Church, Palace of Marquees of Two Waters, the Cathedral (and its different doorways), the Royal Basilica of Our Lady of the Helpless, Generalitat Palace (Parliament), the Palau (archbishop´s palace), Virgin and Queen squares, the Serrano´s Towers, etc. The artistic and cultural splendour from the roman origins until nowadays. We will continue by the old river bed, transformed in a 12 km long garden, knowed as Turia Gardens, to see The City of Arts and Sciences, a complex of buildings designed mainly by the architect/engineer S. Calatrava; photo stop to see the monuments symbolizing the icon of the modern Valencia City.
