The Ayora Valley

The Ayora Valley 

This special route goes by the South-East side of the Valencia´s Region, bordering the lands of Castilla-La Mancha. The first visit will be the Cave of Don Juan, a wonderful geological karsts in Sierra of Boquerón (Boquerón Mountains). Later we´ll see Jalance, the old village “Xalans” retaing the ancient urban layout from the arabs: Narrow streets, small squares and twisted streets, crowned by the castle; we´ll continue our journey by trip boat, down the River Jucar around Cofrentes, where we found stretches and deep gorges of breath-taking beauty by the river, with incredible panoramic views. Finally  we will visit Cofrentes, with one of the most important castles inland Valencia.
